Alexander Bornstein is an award winning film and TV composer residing in Los Angeles. Currently, he is working on the highly anticipated 'Sausage Party' animated series for Amazon, where he serves as co-composer of the score alongside Emmy-nominated composer Christopher Lennertz. Prior to this collaboration, Alexander and Lennertz worked together on several episodes of the series 'Lost in Space' and 'Supernatural’.
He began his music career as an intern at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions in 2011 starting as a runner, and eventually earning a position in sample and sound design. Notably, during his time there, he served as a music department assistant for the 2012 Academy Awards and contributed to the sounds for the film ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
Alexander's other recent credits include the 2023 thriller 'The Tutor,' the popular Netflix animated series 'Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy,' ‘Edge of the Unknown with Jimmy Chin’ (as co-composer with Marco Beltrami and Brandon Roberts) and the second season of Nickelodeon's 'Are You Afraid of the Dark' (as co-composer with Punch Brothers alum Gabe Witcher).
